filthy 13:
An evolution of the iconic Dirty Dozen watches. Preserving the classic field watch aesthetic, we've utilized trademark features of the originals such as a railroad minute track and sub-seconds dial, while introducing unique dial variations and case materials.
Our 38mm bead blasted case sports drilled lugs for optimal function, and its perfect mid-range size delivers a streamlined profile with great wrist presence. Our large screw-down crown seals the watch up to 10 ATM, while acclaimed Swiss SuperLuminova®️ technology makes our dial legible under the darkest conditions.
Beneath the hood of our watch is the intricate workhorse that is the Sellita caliber SW261-1. This Swiss automatic movement has an impressive 41 hour power reserve, keeping your watch ticking even when not in use.
Built on the bedrock of reliability, functionality and durability, the Filthy 13- like it's heroic namesake- carries a unique story and a purpose, equipped to handle more than a bit of grit and grime. It's a watch made not only to tell time, but to withstand the test of time.
The case
Drilled Lugs
Aside from its tool watch aesthetic, drilled lugs provide a level of functionality to your watch. Strap changes can be done in an instant, without worrying about scratching the underside of your lugs.
Solid Caseback
The Filthy 13 features a solid stainless steel caseback showcasing an embossed TUUL logo at the center, with the watch's specs and highlights engraved along the perimeter.
Cusn8 Bronze
Our bronze watch cases are CNC machined from solid CuSn8 bronze, which undergo an intricate bead blasting process. The result is a smooth bead blasted finish with subtle texture.
BRONZE & PATINA
Due to the nature of bronze material, each bronze FILTHY 13 case will develop patina in its own way, based on environmental exposure, climate, and usage. No two watches will evolve in the same way, giving each watch its own unique character. Embrace your patina!
The Dial
Railroad track
Our dial features a minute "railroad track" with 60 minute hashes, echoing the original Dirty Dozen watches.
Luminous Indices
Your watch shouldn't have to be visible only during the daytime. We've utilized Swiss Super-LumiNova®️ technology for both the hands and indices to make your watch legible under the darkest conditions.
Sub-Seconds
Just like its Dirty dozen roots, the Filthy 13 boasts a sub-seconds dial at the 6 o'clock position, highlighted by a step-down or recessed dial, beveled edge and "vinyl" swirls.
Swiss Movement
Powering the Filthy 13 is the workhorse that is the Sellita caliber SW261-1. This is a self-winding automatic movement with up to 41 hours of power reserve. We've had the date function removed from the movement so that there's no "ghost" or blank position in the crown. The movement has 31 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.
10 ATM WR
It is essential for a tool watch to perform in all conditions, and the Filthy 13 is well equipped to handle the elements. The large 7mm crown has grooves or "teeth" making it easy to grip, and its screw-down function seals your timepiece up to 10 ATM (100 meters) against water infiltration to ensure the safety of its inner workings.
Tactical TUUL Case
Just like your watch, the toolcase it comes in should be both durable and functional. Ours are made from polypropylene and fiberglass, materials low in density and high in heat resistance, making them tough as nails. The case has an IP67 waterproof rating, which means it is protected against water. The interior holds EVA foam to cushion its contents, with custom cutouts to house your watch, warranty card and manual, spring bar tool, as well as an extra slot for an additional strap. The easy to grip rubber handle allows for ease of accessibility, so that your watch can go with you wherever you go.
